The Foundation for Digital Technology in Conservation was legally established in January 2009 by:

  • Adam Lowe (director of Factum Arte)
  • Betty Guereta (director of Galeria Guereta)
  • Michael Perry (an altruist based in London)
  • Gabriel Rossy (director of Rossy Associates)

With Betty Guereta as the President of the Foundation.

The initial donation to create the foundation was made by Factum Arte from the sale of a work by Anish Kapoor. Further funds have been obtained from individual donations.
